As the population of orphan children is growing in epidemic proportions,there is an enormous, immediate need to give the necessary care for these orphans so that they have a fruitful life and bright future. (Proverbs 14: 31). India is home to 35 million destitutes and an estimated 18 million orphans.Children who miss opportunities for improving themselves today will be a big burden to society and of no use to themselves in future. The problem calls for every compassionate heart to give a helping hand.
We have adopted 50 orphan children. Children Home offers a fresh, dynamic and systematic approach to confront this problem, by creating a family and well cared atmosphere based on the love and compassion of Christ. This unique approach gives the child an opportunity to develop his spiritual and physical needs in a congenial atmosphere (Prov. 22:6). Children Home provides beneficial, nurturing, care to parentless infants, children, and adolescents. A healthy, flourishing environment filled with love and songs of worship is fill the every day life of each child. At this time it costs about US $28.00 a month to support a child in our orphanage. Right now we have more children that need our help.
OUR VISION FOR THESE CHILDREN
The primary vision is to see India Saved! India is home to more than 35 million destitute and street children. Our heart is to reach out to these forgotten ones and place them in a loving home environment. We make it our highest priority to ensure that quality care is given to each child taken into the Children's Home. It is also our passion to see each one of these little children grow up knowing Christ personally and understand the purpose of God for their lives.Christ is the only hero for their lives.
How You can help us
There are number of practical things you can do to us
• first of all, if you are Christian, we ask you to pray for our work here and for all the children in our home.
• If you are interested to sponsor, we can send you every month news of the child they sponsor, and letters from the child if he/she is of school age and can write (Prov 3:27)
• You can send gifts that can be spent wherever needed in the orphanage. We also are in constant need of clothes, shoes, toys, and playing items. Those of you who have children know that they quickly grow out of whatever they wear, and they also tend to wear things out much faster then us grown-ups.
• If you can save 7 US $ a week and 28 US $ a month is will give a child of MIND OF CHRIST CHILDREN HOME the much needed LIFE & HOPE. So why don’t you start from today itself.
• At times we can use the help of voluntary workers, in particular skilled people who can help in teaching English songs and training skills.
